Suicide screenings have not been shown to be effective in preventing teen suicides. In fact, many suicide victims and school shooters have received mental health “treatment” prior to inflicting lethal harm to themselves.
About a fifth of students taking the tests are labeled as having some form of mental disorder. These drugs have, in most cases, not been tested or approved for use on children. Most of these drugs carry warnings from the FDA warning that their use could induce suicide.
Yet we are being told that the intent of the screenings is suicide prevention.
